Tavira é das mais típicas cidades do Algarve. Banhada pelo rio
Gilão está situada em plena Ria Formosa. A entrada na barra
deve ser feita com cuidado sobretudo para calados superiores a
1,5 metros, pelo que deverá entrar a meia maré com esta a
encher. A corrente que se faz sentir poderá atingir os 3/4 nós.
Os bancos de areia são uma das características das entradas
nesta zona. Deve-se evitar a entrada com mau tempo.(...) |

One of the oldest
and most picturesque towns in the Algarve, Tavira has a quiet,
friendly ambience and makes a pleasant place to stay. Along the
coast,Santa Luzia is a seaside town with a fine tradition of
octopus fishing. Just inland, there is a fine Renaissance
chruch at Luz de Tavira. |

fin accessible par bateau. Toutes les locations sont équipées
de lave-linge, sauf Morgado et Quinta Velha. Le linge -draps et
serviettes de toilette- est fourni et changé une fois par

culture and sightseeing we came to Tavira to have a break and
simply bake at the sea side. |
