Situé à 2 Km de Tavira, Santa Luzia, village de pêcheurs par dessus tout spécialisé dans la pêche au poulpe, se trouve le long du bras de mer où pêcheurs et plaisanciers viennent ancrer. La Pêche au poulpe se fait par immersion de pots en terre, marqués aux chiffres des propriétaires, à une profondeur de 10 à 30 mètres. Les fonds sont sableux et plats et les pots disséminés permettent aux poulpes de se protéger pour mieux chasser.(...).

Per andare alla spiaggia occorre prendere il battello (2.000 lire andata/ritorno), sulla spiaggia si trovano tutti i servizi, bar self service ristoranti e noleggio imbarcazioni oltre a 13 km di spiaggia.
